Our First Van
Our first van was a lot of fun and turned out gorgeous! The two most important features for me wer having enough power to run my high-speed blender and having a portapotty. Why? I LOVE having rainbow smoothies daily and if anyone has used a beach bathroom, enough said.
We, unfortunately, had to sell it to qualify to buy a piece of land where we are planning to grow and live off an organic farm. Here are a few pics and highlights of our van. Plans for Van #2 is in the works!
A beautiful day with Teton views!!!
We like to throw things in and go! The large cupboards and open space made it easy!
The PERFECT place and size to put your wine bottle!!! We really thought hard about the important stuff :)
I'm really proud of our layout and color selection. They were practical, easy to keep clean, bright and cheerful!
My husband custom made everything! The chair has a dual function. The bottom lifts up and reveals a portapotty. Sooo much better than public bathrooms! We had a lot of lights that were on dimmer switches. The large fridge made long weekends easy, and the heater kept us toasty warm on those freezing, high mountain nights.
We chose to have a dual gas burner. It was easy like using a coleman stove. We felt we had a good amount of cupboard space to pack up lots of food and enough counter space to prepare it. We eat pretty good when we travel. You are more than welcome to join us!
This is where we secured all the electrical. All the extra space was perfect for whatever gear we needed to bring! Anyone up for white water rafting, SUP, or canyoneering? Sooo much fun!
