Vegetarian Stuffed Mushrooms

The only hard part about this recipe is not eating all the cream cheese before you stuff and cook the mushrooms.

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup leeks or green onions
3 cloves garlic
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper

16 ounces mushrooms

Step ONE:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup leeks or green onions, sliced small

3 cloves garlic, crushed

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1/8 teaspoon white pepper

Mix above ingredients

Step TWO:

16 ounces mushrooms, washed

Remove stems from mushrooms. Chop 1/3 of mushroom stems very small and stir in cream cheese mixture. With small spoon, add heaping spoonfull of cream cheese mixture to center of mushroom where stem was. The amount will vary depending on the size of mushroom. Put mushrooms in sprayed glass pan. 

Step THREE:

Place in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Place on serving plate and ENJOY!
